Stefani Ellis, PMHNP-BC

Stefani grew up in a small town in Ohio and has worked in mental health since 2011. After earning her BSN from East Tennessee State University in 2015, she completed her master's degree as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Lincoln Memorial University in 2019.

Mental health has always been close to Stefani’s heart, and she considers it a privilege to walk with people through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Stefani strives to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their stories and working toward meaningful change.

Outside of work, Stefani enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. She loves caring for houseplants, collecting shark teeth, and anything related to true crime.

Melody Ellis, PMHNP-BC

Melody is an East Tennessee native who has devoted her career to psychiatric and mental health care. She began her academic journey at Tennessee Technological University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and became a Registered Nurse.

After graduation, she joined Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital, working in the psychiatric hospital setting where she gained foundational experience in acute and inpatient mental health care. She then expanded her clinical expertise as a travel psychiatric nurse, working in diverse behavioral health settings and caring for a wide range of patient populations across different healthcare systems.

Melody later returned to Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital, continuing her work in inpatient mental health while advancing her education. During this time, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Austin Peay State University.

Outside of work, Melody enjoys traveling to warm destinations, spending time with her two dogs, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
